From no. 52774, ZPJ engines have cylinder head covers with wider flanges at the timing gear end

This modification is linked to the general widening of the joint faces of the cylinder heads

Идентификация

(1) earlier assembly

• Right hand cylinder head cover: реферанс P.R 0248.C5
• Left hand cylinder head cover: реферанс P.R 0248.C4

(2) монтаж, применяемый в настоящее время (retainer grooves (A))

(3) специальный способ установки в условиях сервисной станции (without retainer grooves (A))

• Right hand cylinder head cover: реферанс P.R 0248.E4
• Left hand cylinder head cover: реферанс P.R 0248.E3

Взаимозаменяемость

Due to the presence of the retainer grooves (A), the cylinder head covers which are currently fitted (3) are not compatible with engines which do not have widened joint faces (oil leaks)

As a result, the Parts Division supplies specific Service cylinder head covers (3) fitted without grooves (A), compatible with all ZPJ engine types

When stocks are exhausted, Parts Division will only supply specific Service cylinder head covers (3)
