Снятие
ВниманиеНеобходимо выполнять приведенные ниже условия
Отсоединить аккумуляторную батарею
Выполнять требования безопасности, относящиеся к подушкам безопасности (refer to Service Information no. 70 of 94)
Give the owner the following information
- The owner of a vehicle fitted with an air bag is not authorised to remove it themself for any kind of work (failure, repair etc.)
- The owner must always contact a specialist workshop where removal and repair will be carried out

Снять
- Рулевое колесо (/)
- Верхнюю отделку рулевой колонки
Check that the red electrical supply connector is present
Unclip the red connector from its bracket using a thin screwdriver blade inserted between the bracket and the connector
Position the clip (4) on the connector bracket (B) and clip the supply connector (A)
Установка
Remove the expiry date label from the new air bag and attach it to the Warranty and Maintenance Record booklet
Remove the 2 bolts (7) securing the indicator stalk
Slide the indicator stalk until the finger disappears
Pass the rotary connector harness (1) and connector through the stalk bracket and position the rotary connector in the stalk bracket
Secure the rotary connector using the 3 bolts (6)
Connect the connector (C) to the supply (A) checking the tightening of the clip (4)
Check the movement of the rotary connector by turning it freely (with no stiff spots)
Pass the rotary connector harness and the connector through the air bag steering wheel (2)
Engage and position the air bag steering wheel on the shaft splines
Fit the locknut (5) (Затяжка моментом...3.5 дН.м)
Connect the connector (B) and position it in the foam
Remove the protective disc from the air bag connector
Connect the connector (D) to the steering wheel air bag cushion and check that it is fastened correctly
Position the air bag on the steering wheel
Tighten the air bag fasteners to 0.8 m.daN
Подсоедините обратно аккумуляторную батарею
Проверка функционирования
- Check the illumination of the operation light which should extinguish after 3 seconds
- If a fault is noted, re-check all the connections
