Since December 1999 the new Y17DT engine has been available in the Astra-G. This unit was developed to strengthen our position in the diesel market.
To ensure we get quick accurate feedback from retailers a checklist has been developed. If any work has to be carried out on this engine we ask that you photocopy the checklist, attached to this bulletin, and send it to the address specified.
The information in this bulletin should not be interpreted as the basis for claims unless so designated.
All component(s) fitted under warranty could be requested for return to the Warranty Material Return Centre, if after examination the components are found to be ‘No Fault Found’ then the component(s) could be returned and your account debited accordingly.
