Oil leaking between engine block and transmission.
Cause:
Insufficient torque setting of 'Plug, M16x1.5, oil port'
Production Solution:
In plant tightening of 'Plug, M16x1.5, oil port' as of engine number: 17 477 400
Special part:

Remedy:
Remove "Plug, M16x1.5, oil port" from engine block, apply gasket
compound, insert plug and tighten with correct torque setting.
Working Procedure:
1. Open hood
2. Disconnect battery
3. Remove transmission
- see working procedure "Transmission, remove and install", unit "K", Service Instruction of the relevant carline.
4. Remove pressure plate and clutch disk,
- see working procedure "Transmission, remove and install", unit "K", Service Instruction of the relevant carline.
5. Remove flywheel or drive disk,
- see working procedure "Transmission, remove and install", unit "J", Service Instruction of the relevant carline.
6. Place oil sump pan in position.

8. Drain oil from engine block.
9. Clean thread in engine block.
10. Apply gasket compound to "Plug, M16x1.5, oil port".
11. Insert "Plug, M16x1.5, oil port" (I) in engine block and tighten with a torque wrench to 30 Nm.
12. Clean any oil off engine block.
13. Install flywheel or drive disk,
- see working procedure "Flywheel, remove and reinstall" or
"Drive disk, remove and reinstall", unit "J", Service Instruction of the relevant carline.
14. Install pressure plate and clutch disk,
- see working procedure "Pressure plate and clutch disk, remove and reinstall', unit 'K', Service Instruction of the relevant carline.
15. Install transmission,
- see working procedure 'Transmission, remove and reinstall", unit "K", Service Instruction of the relevant carline.
16. Connect battery.
17. Close hood.
