Remedy:
In case of a customer complaint check the correct engine and body ground connection. Ensure the proper plug connection at immobilizer and ECU. Delete DTC's.
Note: Please do not exchange the immobilizer or ECU because the replacement does not avoid the immo signal interference.
Until availability of a technical solution, please inform customers as follow: When a.m. failure occurs, turn ignition key into “0” position, wait approx. 5 sec and start the engine again. Engine will start and SVS will be deactivated.
Modified software for Corsa (MY 2001 and MY 2002) will be available with TIS 2000 CD 37. Software for Corsa (MY 2003) will be available with TIS 2000 CD 38. Software for Astra (MY 2001-2003) and Agila (MY 2001-2003) is expected with TIS 2000 CD 40.
