In case of customer complaint do not replace any parts (knock sensor, wiring harness or ECU), because in most cases the problem is not caused by a hardware failure. Delete DTC only. An improved software is in preparation and will be published with TIS-CD 42 (June 2003). The improved software for Vectra-C, Z18XE with EGR is available as of TIS-CD 45.
Attention: Do not reprogram Vectra-B with TIS-CD 43 (see Quick Information 1627).
