| Complaint: | Dealer complains once the injector had been replaced DTC: P0602(A) shows up, small quantity learning not possible due to high idle speed. |

| Cause: | Small quantity learning needs a defined idle speed range in order to guarantee a proper small quantity learning function. In case ambient temperature in ECU data list reads less than 10°C idle speed is initially set to 900 RPM and therefore avoids learning of small fuel quantities. |
| Production: | SQL function was implemented in production with engine number Z17DTH1432302 (12.12.2005). |
Remedy:
In case of customer complaint please proceed as follows.
1.) If the current (real) ambient temperature value is higher than 10°C please perform a driving cycle which definitely needs to fulfill the following conditions: a.) Vehicle speed must be higher than 50 km/h. b.) Item a.) must be guaranteed for at least 10 minutes.
2.) If current ambient temperatures is less than 10°C, lift vehicle in service workshop and perform action under 1.)
In both cases the idle speed value will drop below the required value to perform a proper small fuel amount quantity learning (due to new/higher ambient temperature value in ECU data list).
