The Zafira OPC has a two-piece axle shaft (4) with intermediate bearing, as already known from the Astra-G with Z 20 LET engine. The bracket (1) for the intermediate bearing (2) is attached to the engine block using two fastening bolts.
• Service: In Aftersales, the outer joints (3) of the axle shafts in the Zafira OPC must not be separated from the shaft, because once separated they can no longer be assembled. Consequently, the installation sequence for disassembling and assembling the axle shafts has been modified. These operations will be described in the next edition of the Service Instruction.
