| Complaint: | Noise from automatic transmission area. In some cases a flexplate fixing bolt can break. |

| Cause: | 1. Flexplate out of specification. Collar of flexplate outer diameter is too high causing some interference with the weld seam of torque converter fixings. Consequently screws can break. 2. Screw coating is not durable over time. |
| Production: | 1. Change to flexplate with modified collar lenght as of Engine BP: Z19DT...4339842. 2. In case of customer complaint replace damaged parts. It is important to fit the modified flexplate with new partnumber: 93185538 / cataloguenumber: 56 16 010 and improved screws with new partnumber: 55561834 / cataloguenumber: 06 16 962. It essential to use locking compound partnumber: 90542117 / cataloguenumber: 15 10 181 to apply a tightening torque of 30 Nm.
Note: Old screws with partnumber: 55354739 / cataloguenumber: 06 16 954 must not be used any longer.
