The equipment operates by the method known as evaporation, with heat regulation obtained by controlling the fuel supply: full load, half load and off
The metering pump supplies the evaporation burner with fuel; the blower supplies the air necessary for combustion; the ceramic glow finger produces this evaporation then goes out; the combustion continues unaided
A control unit handles temperature and time information to control the system
On independent heating equipment, the control unit also operates the water pump

Check on presence of flame before combustion
The control unit measures the resistance of the filament
- Если сопротивление превышает 0.54 Ω Ом: the control unit considers that the filament is broken or that a flame is present before combustion
- Если сопротивление меньше 0.23 Ω: the control unit considers that there is a short circuit in the filament
In both cases it is impossible to start operation of the heating; the unit records a fault
Incandescent finger
If the resistance measured is between these 2 values, the control unit then supplies the filament with current which is intermittent

The coolant temperature varies depending on the heating requirements of the passenger compartment

If the temperature increases up to B, the heating stops
When the temperature falls to C, the heating starts again at full power and again changes to half power if the temperature reaches A

In order to cool the equipment and evacuate the combustion gases, the air impeller remains supplied for several minutes after stopping
