Complaint:	Rattling noise from engine at idle.
Cause:	Crankcase pressure control valve remains open resulting in mentioned concern.
Production:

Remedy:

In case of customer complaint proceed as follows: Open the oil filler cap (hard to open because of the vacuum); if the noise disappears the crankcase ventilation valve is the cause of the rattling noise.

Remedy: Install a new crankcase ventilation valve (partnumber: 24414343 / cataloguenumber: 56 07 496).
