| Cause: | Noise occurs due to pulsation of fuel column in feed pipe. |

Remedy:
In case of customer complaint install a surge tank.
Procedure:
1. Detach the fuel feed pipe from distributor see picture I, 1.
2. Cut the fuel feed pipe see picture II, X (X approx. 45 mm).
3. Cut fuel feed pipe (tank side) by approx. 50 mm to compensate the dimension of surge tank. 4. Pre-fit the clamps on fuel feed pipes as shown in picture II, 1. 5. Insert the surge tank into the fuel feed pipe as shown in picture II, 2.
Note: Ensure free travel of surge tank and clips.
6. Position the clamps as shown in picture II, 1 and detach "pull-off-clip" from clamp. 7. Connect fuel feed pipe to distributor.
