Presentation of the window mechanism assembly
3 main groups can be distinguished
The window guide, which is made up of
- The front guide (1), with a flocked slide attached to the exterior mirror seal, there is a travel limiter at the top
- The rear guide (2) which has an upper limiter (the two guides determine the angle of the window towards the inside or the outside of the vehicle and ensure that there is no distortion)
- The rear runner (3), fitted on bearings, is part of the rear guide; it is secured to the window by 2 bolts
- The runner also has a stop screw for adjusting the height of the rear of the window, as well as for front-rear and in-out adjustment
The crossed arms window mechanism (4): the window motor has its own ECU and Hall effect sensor
The window (5), which slides in the front guide
- This window has two rails at the bottom which guide the slides which connect with the window mechanism arms
- This window has the height adjustment stop screw bracket (6) at the front
