The wrong adjustment of the brakelight switch has to be corrected. The function of the brakelight switch can be checked with the scan tool Tech2. Self adjustment of brakelight switch: Depress brake pedal, pull brakelight switch out and release brake pedal in its stopped position. The brakelight switch has been adjusted. The brakelight switch is adjusted correctly when the brakelight is on by a travel of 15 +/-5 mm.
