For MY 2005, all right hand drive versions of Vivaro are equipped with a special security bolt to secure the bonnet to each of the two bonnet hinges. At each side of the bonnet, a single security bolt (2) is installed together with a normal hexagonal head bolt (1).
The bolt can only be removed when the bonnet is open; therefore making unauthorized access to the engine bay difficult when the vehicle is locked and unattended.
• Service: Special tool BO-47788 is required to remove and install the bonnet security bolt.
