Sealing the heat exchanger cover.
Vehicles:
The above vehicle types with V6 DOHC petrol engines.
Condition:
The 90 511 124 / 15 03 296 sealing compound previously used by Service to seal off the heat exchanger cover will be replaced by a new silicon sealant (light grey). The precondition for a successful operation is that the sealing surfaces (cover and cylinder block) are free from gasket residues, oil and grease.
