Remedy:
In case of customer complaint replace bearing discs backrest hinge of rear seat.
1. Remove rear backrest left and right
- see working procedure "Rear Backrest – Left, Remove and Install" and "Rear Backrest – Right, Remove and Install", group "C", Service Instruction Vectra-C.
2. Remove bearing nut of rear backrest hinge (Picture I).
3. Replace bearing disc (Picture II, arrow).
4. Install bearing nut rear backrest hinge – torque 23 Nm. 5. Install rear backrest left and right
- see working procedure "Rear Backrest – Left, Remove and Install" and "Rear Backrest – Right, Remove and Install", group "C", Service Instruction Vectra-C.
