| Cause: | Incorrect engine oil level |

Remedy:
In case of customer complaint check engine oil level.
All Vivaro and Phase 2 Movano have an electronic oil level display. When the ignition is switched on the display shows the engine oil level for a short period.
'Oil OK' = Oil level is correct 'Oil' and Service / Engine Electronics lamp lit = Oil level is incorrect.
To gain a more accurate indication of the oil level press and hold the button whilst 'Oil OK' is displayed. A series of squares will appear on the display. As the oil level goes down the squares are progressively replaced with dashes.
6 Squares + 0 Dashes = Oil Level OK 3 Squares + 3 Dashes = Intermediate Level 0 Squares + 6 Dashes = Minimum Level, check and top up urgently !
If the engine oil level drops below the minimum level whilst the vehicle is driving (6 Dashes) the Service / Engine Electronics light will illuminate. It may not always be apparent why the lamp has come on as no DTC's are set in the ECM. When checking with the diagnostic tool for potential causes of the Service Light without DTC, always check the oil level in the first instance.
