Poor Performance
Performance of brakes is insufficient as long as the engine is cold. Very high pedal force is required.
Cause:
The engine-supplied vacuum for the brake booster is not high enough during the engine warm-up phase.

Remedy:
In case of complaint an altered vacuum pipe has to be fitted to the brake booster.
Working procedure:
1. Disconnect battery.
2. Remove existing vacuum pipe.
| 3. Install new vacuum pipe which also has to be attached to the firewall with two clips. | |||

4. Position pipe onto airfilter housing and mark position.
5. Remove upper airfilter housing.
6. Remove inner and outer cross beam and debur.
| 7. Drill 16 mm diameter hole and install flange. | |||

| 8. Install upper airfilter housing and connect vacuum pipe. | |||

9. Connect battery.
10. Program volatile memory.
