| Complaint: | After replacement of the ABS Hydraulic unit, the ABS telltale flashes up. |

| Cause: | Tech 2 does not support a bleed test. This test is necessary for a newly installed ABS Unit, because the ABS Units from P&A are not prefilled for the service. |

Remedy:
In case of complaint follow the instruction below.
Note: Before the manual operation check can be done, the operator has to check the battery voltage (voltage has to be 11 V or higher) and has to make sure that no TC is set.
Working procedure:
1. Use a service wire to connect terminal 1 with terminal 3 at the X49 connector (Connector X49 is located at the A-Pillar, exact location please see TIS Information, Wiring Diagram). 2. Depress brake pedal and turn Ignition switch ”ON”. Now the operation sound of the solenoids and the pump motor should be heared. 3. Wait for approx. 20 sec.. 4. Turn Ignition switch ”OFF ” release brake pedal and disconnect the service wire on connector X49. 5. Start the engine and check the ABS telltale. The telltale has to be off now. 6. Run a brake performance test on a brake test bench.
