| Complaint: | Incorrect reading of engine oil level on the oil dipstick although correct engine oil capacity is filled in. |

| Cause: | Missing ventilation hole in oil dipstick tube due to manufacturing failure at supplier. |
| Production: | Oil dipstick tube is checked as of engine no: 17 C92 336 (31.05.2002). Parts at P&A have been checked and found 100% OK. |
Remedy:
In case of complaint (incorrect oil dipstick reading) please check the oil dipstick tube. The ventilation hole is located underneath the stop collar.
In case of any repair work at the engine please check this issue too.
Replace the dipstick tube if the ventilation hole is not present according to TIS 2000 service instructions.
