| Cause: | Change to coating finish by supplier. |
| Production: | Calipers with new coating were introduced onto production between the following B/P's: W0LJ7ACA64V633388 to W0LF7ABA54V633410. After the last B/P all calipers are of the later style. |
In case of customer complaint no action needs to be taken. The calipers are identical apart from the anti-corrosion coating used by the supplier. The original finish was dark grey however the new coating gives almost a shiny zinc appearance.
Note: For service replacements only dark grey calipers are currently available from GM warehouse however as there is no part number change stock held will eventually become mixed as the supplier backfills with the later specification.
