Remedy:
In case of complaint advise the customer that the set must be turned off and back on manually to recover the volume control.
Vivaro has the ignition and 'W' function connected together which is different to normal Opel practice. The start up difference between the vehicle and set can cause this temporary volume loss. The fault is easily rectified by switching the set off and back on manually. The fault can only occur if the set switches on automatically with the ignition.
A replacement of the set does not fix the problem.
