| Complaint: | Set may remain active if the ignition key is removed when the vehicles headlamps or interior blower are switched on. No volume control on initial power up phase of set. |

| Production: | Implementation of revised Navigation Unit with software level 7.244 planned for CW 38/2003. These units can be identified by a change to the white label on the back of the set. The software index number has changed from 2202 to 2103 ( 9th-12th digit of number directly under the pin allocation ). |
Remedy:
In case of customer complaint only the Navigation CD needs to be replaced. This new disc, version 2004/1 can be ordered directly from Navigation Technologies in the normal manner. Navtech should only supply this CD as the latest issue available. The CD has been released as an updated map disc for all GME Carlines but also includes the 'software fix' for Vivaro. Normal service recommendations should be followed for installation of the CD which must then remain with the customer. It is not desirable to re-install the original CD with earlier software.

The costs for this repair will be covered for vehicles not older than 3 years and a mileage lower than 100.000 Km. The regular warranty procedure should be used for claiming Set-up-time.
