A tyre repair kit is standard equipment for Vivaro MY 2005. The spare wheel is optional, together with its retaining clamp, tool kit box and wheel nut spanner. The tyre repair kit is supplied to effect a temporary repair.
The tyre repair kit comprises a compressor unit (3) and sealant bottle (1). The compressor unit has an integral air hose (2) and a power lead (4) that are each stowed in a recess on the underside of the compressor unit. The sealant bottle includes a delivery hose (5) that connects to the tyre valve.
The power lead is designed for use with the vehicle's accessory socket.
The compressor unit is equipped with a pressure gauge (7), an on/off switch (5) and a deflation button (6).
The compressor air hose is connected to the sealant bottle by a quickly detachable connector (3) and the delivery hose is similarly connected to the tyre valve by a quickly detachable connector (2). The base of the sealant bottle (1) is installed in a recess (4) in the compressor unit.
• Service: The sealant bottle can be used for one tyre repair only, then the sealant bottle should be replaced. The repaired tyre must be replaced at the earliest opportunity.
