Electrical failures
Interior lighting remains on after closing the door. The light can only be turned off with the lighting switch.
Cause:
Possible causes:
1. Dimmer switch in the instrument panel has been adjusted beyond its end stop position.
2. Contact problem with the sliding door contact switch.
3. Pinching of the wiring harness under the co-driver seat.
4. Damage cable harness under the headliner in the area of the cut out for the cargo safety net.

Remedy:
Remove contact switch on both sliding doors by disengaging both lugs on the switch. Disassemble the switch. Remove any grease on the contacts and bend pins until good contact is guaranteed.
Repair wiring harness if required.
