Remedy:
In case of customer complaint (LHD vehicles) install an over centre spring to the clutch pedal.
For RHD vehicles refer to Special Policy Program 05-P-43.
Working Procedure:
1. Remove light switch centre
- see working procedure "Light Switch Centre, Remove and Install", group "N", Service Instruction Vectra-C/Signum (Document Number 00302127).
2. Remove left Instrument panelling (Picture I, 1).
3. Fix thigh spring of clutch pedal (Picture II, 1).
Note:
Secure thigh spring with fibre band against rattling.
4. Install guide of over centre spring to pedal assembly (Picture III, 1).
5. Install over centre spring (Picture IV, 1).
Important:
- actuate clutch pedal - insert over centre spring into guide (upper arrow) - press over centre spring together - install over centre spring to clutch pedal (lower arrow)
6. Install left Instrument panelling. 7. Install light switch centre
