| Complaint: | In Warranty Parts Return Centers ECC-ECUs with misleading failure codes B0225, B0176, B0181, B0512, B0517 and in some cases B0240 and B0250 are received. |

| Cause: | These failure codes will be set when the blue plug is removed from the ECC-ECU with ignition switched on. |

All operations on the vehicle electrical system (connection of test instruments TECH 2, disconnecting of plug connections, parts replacement) must only be performed with the ignition switched off.
