| Complaint: | 1) Blocked door handle of sliding door - cannot be opened. 2) Door lock of sliding door cannot be unlocked. 3) Rear door cannot be opened. |

| Cause: | 1) Water ingress in bowden cable of handle can block outer door handle under cold conditions. 2) Bowden cable length not according to drawing (too short). 3) The rod between lock and door handle jumps out of the fixation clip. |
| Production: | As of VIN W0L0XCF25 3 3 028295 new bowden cables, sliding doors have been introduced in production. As of VIN W0L0XCF25 2 3 044408 new rod and clip for rear doors have been introduced in production. |
Remedy:
In case of customer complaint replace door handles, bowden cables and rod.
Sliding Door:
Replace outside handle and seal – sliding door (both sides if necessary) - see working procedure "Outside Handle – Sliding Door, Remove and Install (Models F 06, F 25)", group "C", Service Instruction Corsa C Combo.
Replace bowden Cable, outside door handle (Picture I, 3) and bowden cable, door lock (Picture I, 1, only vehicles with central door locking) - see working procedure "Bowden Cables – Sliding Door, Replace (Models F 06, F25)", group "C", Service Instruction Corsa C Combo.
Rear Door:
Remove rear end door inner panelling - see operation "Inner Panelling – Rear End Door, Remove and Install (Models F06, F25)".
Unscrew 2 bolts at the top of lock (Picture II, 2) and detach Bowden cable (Picture II, 1).
Unscrew 3 bolts (Picture III, arrows) at the actuation unit.
For vehicles with central locking: Detach door handle actuation linkage (Picture III, 1), detach lock cylinder actuation linkage (Picture III, 2) and remove actuation unit with the Bowden cables.
Suspend the Bowden cable from the top lock (Picture III, 3) on the actuator unit (if necessary).
Replace rod (Picture IV, 1) and clamp (Picture IV, 2) with new rod and new clamp.
Attach Bowden cable for top of lock at the actuation unit, insert actuation unit with both Bowden cables into door shell and bolt on, attach lock cylinder actuation linkage, clamp on both wiring harness plugs for central locking motor, attach Bowden cable at top of lock and bolt on top of lock, rear end door inner panelling, close rear end door.
All vehicles, which have been reworked according to this information, have to be clearly marked by a green dot on the upper screw of the striker plate of every sliding door and a green dot on the screw of the check link bracket of the back door.
