| Complaint: | Customer complaint about coolant water consumption. |

| Cause: | Some engines there might be a leakage at the thermostat housing in the area where the coolant hose is fitted to housing. |
| Production: | Improved thermostat housings have been introduced in production as of the following engine no's: 17109711 (Kaiserlautern) and 4952533 (Pratola Sera). |
In case of customer complaint check coolant system according to TIS 2000 specification as mentioned in TIS document 00701765. If leakage is observed, thermostat housing has to be replaced.
