Remedy:
In case of customer complaint attach the centre mounting with glue.
1. Lift spoiler approx. 20 mm (use e.g. padded piece of wood) for the work on the centre column. The position of the 2 distance pads is approx. 150 mm removed from centre mounting.
2. Remove the adhesive pad from centre mounting.
3. Clean the tailgate surface and the centre mounting area with cleaner (cleaner is component of the set, glue). On the adhesive area especially in low area of centre mounting the adhesive residuals must be completely removed.
4. Mask exactly the tailgate in low area of the centre mounting around with masking tape to avaid that primer or adhesive material will contaminate the tailgate.
5. Primer the adhesive area on tailgate and the low area of centre mounting with primer according working instruction of the manufaturer.
6. Apply sufficient glue on primered area. Observe the working instruction of the manufaturer.
7. Remove excessive glue, the masking tape and the 2 distance pads. Push the centre mounting towards the tailgate within max. 3 minutes. Load the spoiler with a padded and fall protected weight (aprox. 5 kg).
8. Clean the surface with cleaner, if an outlet of adhesive material accours.
9. Do not move the vehicle for at least 12 hours at an ambient temperature of min. 18 °C.
10. Remove the weight.
