Airbag telltale lights up for approximately 3-5 seconds after switching off ignition.
Cause:
Wrong pin assignment of body wiring harness/cable PU56 at wiring harness connector X51.
Production Solution:
As of the following VIN an improved wiring harness is used in production: W0L0TGF0815011044.
Remedy:

Cut and insulate cable PU56 (blue/green) in front of wiring harness connector X51.
Working Procedure:
1. Disconnect battery.
| 2. Unlock wiring harness connector X51 (pic. I, arrow) and remove from engine control unit. | |||

3. Pull cable out of profiled tube above bracket (pic. I, 2) and disconnect cable PU56 (blue/green) (pic. II) .
4. Insulate cable ends with shrinking tube and hot air dryer.
5. Tie insulated cable ends to body wiring harness with insulating tape.
| 6. Insert body wiring harness into profiled tube and pay attention to correct seat of rubber socket on profiled tube (pic. I, 1) ! | |||

7. Connect and lock wiring harness connector to engine control unit.
8. Connect battery.
9. Read trouble code body/airbag with TECH2 and delete if existing.
10.Program volatile memories.
