Trunk lid cannot be closed, because the trunk lid locking mechanism doesn`t work.

Cause:

The actuator rod between lock cylinder and locking mechanism is too short.

If adjustment of striker bow doesn`t solve the problem, remove actuator rod between lock cylinder and locking mechanism.

Hold actuator rod in vise and deform on the side of locking mechanism attachment to make the actuator rod longer of 5 mm.

After functional test, detailed adjustment of striker bow may required.

T 8123 50 Bend the actuator rod 92 0.4 hrs

The regular warranty procedure should be used for claiming Set-up-time.
