Remedy:
In case of customer complaint use following working instruction:
1. Check that clip-outer (Catalogue-No.: 72 22 821 / Part-No.: 13142333) is undamaged. If yes, use part. If Clip-Outer is damaged or lost order new part.
2. Rebore clip-outer diameter to 9,5 mm, see picture I. Start with diameter 9,0 mm and use 9,5 mm next.
Note: Maximum drill depth is 8-9 mm. Do not drill through.
3. Clean area of bushing from clip-inner (Catalogue-No.: 72 22 820 / Part-No. 13142010) visible in carpet from dirt and/or fiber fleece.
4. Check fit of clip-outer carefully by put up onto bushing of clip-inner visible in carpet. If mountable without high force, pull off clip-outer.
5. Insert quick-acting glue (Cyanacrylatglue, Catalogue-No.: 15 00 006 / Part-No.: 93165228) into inner bushing of clip-outer, see picture II.
6. After glue application put on clip-outer to clip-inner and push approx. 10 seconds. The bonding is capable after approx. 1 hour.
