Housing - Recirculating Air Valve, Remove and Install
Inner panelling for lower instrument panel padding (passenger's side) and glove compartment - see operation "Inner Panelling - Lower Instrument Panel Padding, Remove and Install" and "Glove Compartment, Remove and Install" in group "C".
For RHD: Inner panelling for lower A-pillar (passenger's side) - see operation "Inner Panelling - Lower A-pillar, Remove and Install" in group "C".
Front footwell air duct (passenger's side) - see operation "Air Duct - Front Footwell, Remove and Install". Release and detach cross strut, wiring harness plug for recirculating air valve servo motor and wiring harness plug for fan motor. Unclip recirculating air valve linkage. Fan motor with recirculating air valve servo motor - see operation "Fan Motor, Remove and Install".
For RHD: Place wiring harness for instrument panel padding (1) to one side.
Release recirculating air valve housing from inside (arrows).
Water deflector and bulkhead cover plate insulation - see operation "Water Deflector, Detach and Reattach" and "Insulation - Bulkhead Cover Plate, Remove and Install" in group "A".
For RHD: Release wiring harness for wiper motor (1).
Release bulkhead air intake (arrows), remove air intake.
Release recirculating air valve housing from outside (arrow).
For LHD: Unclip wiring harness for instrument panel padding from steering crossmember.
Pull recirculating air valve housing slightly forwards and unscrew below steering crossmember.
Remove recirculating air valve housing.
Insert recirculating air valve housing and fasten from inside - ensure that pin (1) is located in front of the recirculating air valve housing.
Fasten recirculating air valve housing from outside.
Bulkhead air intake to bulkhead, wiring harness for wiper motor, insulation for bulkhead cover plate, water deflector.
For LHD: Clip wiring harness for instrument panel padding into steering crossmember.
For RHD: Wiring harness for instrument panel padding.
Fan motor with recirculating air valve motor, recirculating air valve linkage, wiring harness plug for fan motor and wiring harness plug for recirculating air valve motor.
Front footwell air duct (passenger's side), cross strut. For RHD: Inner panelling for A-pillar. Glove compartment, inner panelling for lower instrument panel padding (passenger's side).
