| Cause: | Accumulation of snow pushes the hose out of the brackets at the right sill. |
| Production: | None. |
Remedy:
In case of customer complaint route the hose for rear splash nozzle new.
Working Procedure:
1. Remove hose (1) for rear splash nozzle at cut point (arrow) (Picture 1).
Note:
Close end of hose.
2. Expose hose for rear splash nozzle (Picture II).
Note:
- clip off from 2x bracket (1) in the right wheel housing - clip off from bracket (arrow) at the underbody - clip off from bracket (2)
3. Clip off hose for rear splash nozzle from 3x bracket (Picture III, 1).
4. Remove 1st and 4th cap from right sill (Picture IV, 1).
5. Route hose for rear splash nozzle new.
Note:
- guide hose into 1st opening in the sill - guide hose out of 4th opening in the sill
6. Route hose for rear splash nozzle (Picture V).
Note:
- clip hose into bracket (1) and (2) at the underbody - clip hose into bracket (arrow) at the underbody - clip hose into 2x bracket (3) in the right wheel housing
7. Install hose for rear splash nozzle to cut point.
Note:
Remove cap.
8. Modify 2x cap (Picture VI).
Note:
- remove bar at the backside - pre-drill hole (diameter 5 mm) - drill open hole (arrow I, diameter 10 mm) - cut cap up to the hole (arrow II)
9. Install 2x cap to sill (Picture VII, 1 and 2).

The costs for this repair will be covered for vehicles not older than 3 years and a mileage lower than 100.000 Km. The regular warranty procedure should be used for claiming Set-up-time.
