Condition:
Contrary to the statement in the "New Technical Features, Sintra" and the "Checking Procedures, MID, Sintra, as of Model Year 1997", a range calibration must never be performed.
Remedy:
MIDs incorrectly calibrated as specified in the Checking Procedures (range function disrupted) can be reset with the program memory code version 001 (available on TIS CD - ROM 33) - range calibration is then performed automatically at the same time and the accuracy of the range display is increased.
