Remedy:

1. Read out alarm code. If the powersounder (only Vauxhall) or Ultrasonic sensor have triggered the alarm, both components have to be reprogrammed.

2. Check variant configuration of ATWS with Tech-2.

3. If variant configuration is ok, check specific ATWS circuits by using Tech-2 additional datalist of ATWS. Activate ATWS and observe Tech-2 display.

Note: Observe the following conditions to activate ATWS ·turn off ignition and remove key ·open and close the driver door

When the self diagnosis function of the ATWS is finished (approx. 10sec.), the supervised and not supervised circuits can be observed on the data display.

4. Diagnose all circuits with the status not supervised according the Vehicle related Checking Procedure Table B08 -> Body B75 -> ATWS. Note: If the powersounder circuit or ultrasonic circuit is not supervised, a reprogramming of these components is necessary before further diagnosis is carried out. Use Tech-2 software as of version 11.400 available with TIS 2000 CD34.

All vehicles which have been reworked according this information, have to be clearly marked by a white dot on the contact switch engine hood.
