| Complaint: | Oil pressure switches are replaced but a defect cannot be confirmed. |

| Cause: | Although the SVS/MIL is not active, P0520 (00) is stored in ECU as not present which leads to the assumption that the oil pressure switch is faulty. Problem is caused by a too short debounce time of the oil pressure switch. If oil pressure is not build up within 65ms the trouble code P0520 (00) will be set active. Note: Neither the SVS nor the MIL will light up. As long as the engine builds up sufficient oil pressure (oil pressure indicator off) there is no need to replace the oil pressure switch. In any other case please investigate the root cause for lack of oil pressure. |

In case of complaint erase trouble code P0520 and check if oil indicator in instrument panel lights off, e.g. oil pressure is built up.
