Remedy:
In the brochure to "Pre-delivery Inspection As of Model Year 2003" in section 3.5. "Interior (from driver's side)" a transport safety equipment is mentioned. Up to now this equipment has to be fitted into the provided clear slot (1) in the fuse box on the left outer side of the dashboard in the workshop, before starting the vehicle the first time.
The lack of this fuse during transportation might cause defects on radios with navigation systems (NCDC 2013/2015). Therefore, this fuse has been fitted in the functional slot (1) at the production plant, beginning with mentioned vehicle identification number, see above.
The procedure "fit transport safety equipment" in the check list "Pre-delivery Inspection Technic" in section 5.1 has consequently to be omitted until cancelled.
