The brake switch for vehicles with MTA (Techshift) is a double pole type, with two inputs and two outputs signalling the following:
- Stop lamps
- Towbar connection socket (Vivaro only)
- Anti-lock brake system
- Electronic stability programme (Vivaro only, if installed)
- Transmission control unit
- Engine control unit
