Under special circumstances (e.g. iced or fogged windows) the functions of the ECC may be altered manually. Manual settings remain stored after the ignition is switched off. Manual settings, if necessary, are carried out as follows:

Defogging and defrosting the windows, press button (6), symbol (1) appears in the display.

Heated rear screen and outside mirrors (function only with engine running), press button (4), symbol (2) appears in the display. Heating is switched off automatically after 15 minutes. To switch off sooner: press button (4) again.

Operation without cooling: Press "ECO" button (5), "ECO" (3) appears in the display. The compressor is switched off in this setting. The in-flowing air is not cooled or dehumidified. Return to operation with cooling: Press "ECO" button again, "ECO" disappears form the display.
