Remedy:
In case of customer complaint two failure conditions are possible:
1) If failure occurs sporadically, replace CIM. Testing of CIM with TECH2 is not possible. Note: OK-parts are marked with a yellow dot.
2) If failure is permanent, remove relays K1 X125. If there is no 12V voltage at terminal 86 while starting the engine, replace ignition switch. Replacement of CIM is not necessary.
Note: Although drawing of ignition switch is not displayed in EPC, part can be ordered under P/N 93181315 / Cat-No: 62 35 375.
