| Complaint: | Vehicle stalls althrough fuel gauge shows 1/8 full. Sometimes failure code P0002 (5B, 75) is stored in ECU. |

| Cause: | Swirlpot runs out of fuel or will not be filled if fuel level is low. |
| Production: | Improved swirlpots have been introduced in production as of VIN W0L0AHL4858053309 (Ellesmere Port) and VIN W0L0AHL3552091514 (Bochum I) and VIN W0L0AHL4855112210 (Antwerp). |
Remedy:
In case of customer complaint replace swirlpot according Service Instruction (TIS document 00601185). Improved swirlpots (no partnumber change) are available from P&A as of CW 53/2004. In case of drained fuel supply line evacuate the fuel system according TIS 2000 document 00024686 by using special tool KM-948.
Reworked vehicles have to marked with a coloured dot on the lower rear right door hinge to avoid double repairs.
